Number 2 Ellington Court has a fantastic central yet quiet location location in the St Luke's area of Torquay. The apartment is formed from within one of Torquay's famous Victorian villas and Ellington Court has the added distinction that it is a blue plaque property with an exceptionally interesting former occupant -  Commander Philip Leslie Johns. The apartment itself  is an incredibly spacious with more than 73 square meters of space and is fully modernised, chic,-ground floor apartment.

The apartment is all on one level and has tiled floors which might make it suitable for guests with some degree of restrcited mobility. A high chair and travel cot are available for guests travelling with very young children.

Its central location gives guests easy access to all that Torquay and The English Riviera has to offer and it also has its own allocated parking space which is a real rarity in a property so close to the centre of everything.

The St Lukes area of Torquay is quite hilly. It is possible to get to Torquay seafront is less than ten minutes on foot.

Living Space

The apartment features a light and very contemporary living room with dual aspect windows and has refreshing accents in blue.  It has two sofas which means up to four people can spread out and relax in total  comfort. There is a large flat screen  SMART TV which means guests can access their streaming accounts with ease.

Cooking and Dining

The stylish kitchen offers guests plenty of equipment and space in which to enjoy a self catering break. It is equipped with an electric hob, electric oven, washing machine and a dishwasher plus microwave. We also provide a complimentary welcome pack of teas, coffees, biscuits and milk etc.

Next to the kitchen is the wonderful dining area with a fabulous dining table table and seating where up to 4 people can dine in comfort.

For those occasions when guests would prefer someone else to do the work, there is a restaurant list featuring dozens of eateries that are just a few  minutes walk from the property or else good quality takeaways many of whom deliver.

The Bedrooms

The property is all on one level making it ideal for families or for guests whose mobility might be a little restricted. The main bedroom has a king sized bed (UK size 5 foot width) and features its own TV plus plenty of storage space. It also has a super ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.

The second bedroom has a luxury super king bed that can be configured as twin beds (on Request) and also has a TV and lots of storage. It too has an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.


For added convenience, the property features a cloak room with wash basin and toilet.

Outside Space

There is communal outside space at the rear of the building. This has a lawned area from which there are wonderful sea views and views of the Torquay. It is requested that children are not left unattended in this area.
